OYO LEGION CHAIRMAN JULIUS ADEYEMI OGUNKOJO CONGRATULATES GOVERNOR SEYI MAKINDE ON 6TH ANNIVERSARY
The Chairman, Nigerian Legion, Oyo State Command Evangelist Ogunkojo Julius Adeyemi has sent congratulatory message to Oyo State Governor , His Excellency , Engineer Seyi Makinde on the occasion of the sixth anniversary of his government.
The congratulatory message is contained in a statement issued in Ibadan the Oyo State Capital and made available to newsmen.
Evangelist Ogunkojo explained that people of Oyo state were fortunate to have voted for Governor Seyi Makinde on March 9 ,2019 noting with delight that the present Administration had transformed Oyo State as the government has put smiles on the faces of the people including the down trodden and the less privileged across the State .
He noted with delight that Seyi Makinde led government in the last six years had provided socio economic infrastructure such as good roads , street lights , employment opportunities and economic empowerment to the people.
The Legion boss commended the present Administration for the prompt payment of Salaries and allowances , promotion of workers and agro allied incentives to farmers .
Evangelist Ogunkojo Julius Adeyemi particularly thanked Governor Seyi Makinde for redeeming the pledge made during this year”‘s Armed forces Remembrance Day celebration promising that the Legion is ever ready to be partners in progress on security issues in Oyo State .
He lauded the Governor for his magnanimity calling on him for more supports in the area of operational vehicles and other official incentives for effective operation by the Nigerian Legion in the State .
The Oyo Legion Chairman called on the people to always support the present Administration in the task of moving Oyo State forward.
Evangelist Ogunkojo however prayed God to give the Governor the wisdom and direction to execute more people oriented policies and programmes for the betterment of the people .
He called on religious bodies to forge ahead in praying for Governor Seyi Makinde’s Government in the interest of all and sundry.
